Men' Health America Speaks Out Against CEDAW

News A recent post on the Men's Health America mailing list details the "four fatal flaws of CEDAW," including the fact that it's anti-male and allows for no recognition of gender discrimination against men. As they conclude, " CEDAW is an attempt to impose a radical gender ideology on countries around the world. CEDAW seeks to create a double-standard of rights and responsibilities for men and women. CEDAW represents a serious threat to family stability and gender equality."

"CEDAW is administered by a Committee of 23 unelected gender experts
that meets once a year at the U.N. headquarters in Switzerland. The
Committee periodically expands on the original CEDAW Treaty in a series
of "General Recommendations." "

I wonder who exactly is on this list of 23 "experts".

Obviosly nobody takes or 'took' these people to seriously when it all started. And the only reason the Bill for CEDAW is on the floor is so that it creates heat for Bush. Basically he's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't.

I hope the Bush administration can stall this long enough to get the word out on its lack of veracity and start to do away with it once and for all.
