I have heard the authors of this report speak on their findings, and I find their going public with the information to be reckless.
Their sample was biased, there was a lack of breadth, it failed to include both genders, there were no control subjects, and the list goes on.
If the APA were a responsible organization, they would condemn this type of reporting as unprofessional and unwarranted. It does not matter that there were multiple disclaimers stating that the studies were insufficient. They have no business publishing their findings until the studies are validated and pier reviewed.
At best they are seeking to sensationalize their hypothesis and gain recognition. They are nothing other than seekers of fame. They are to be condemned and the APA should also be condemned for not speaking out against this propaganda.
Basically, they are saying men are defective and women are normal. That is a horrible thing for them to imply, and it supports the current practice of teaching the hatred of men.

We are told by the UK Home Office that 25% of women experience domestic violence at some time in their lives, which means that 75% of women NEVER experience it.
Further, we are told that, every year, 10% of ALL women experience domestic violence.
Now, this 10% must come EXCLUSIVELY from the 25% of women who do experience domestic violence at some time in their lives.
It follows, therefore, that from this sub-group of 25% of women, a whopping 40% of them are experiencing domestic violence EVERY YEAR!
Let me simplify for non-mathematicians.
Imagine that there are 100 women in the entire population.
According to the Home Office, 75 of them NEVER experience domestic violence throughout their ENTIRE lives. So, let's forget about them.
25 of them do experience some domestic violence in their lives.
But, according to the Home Office again, 10 of these 25 women will experience domestic violence EVERY YEAR.
And so it must be the case that it is the SAME women allegedly experiencing domestic violence - year after year after year after year.
There is no other way of interpreting the figures.
