Yet another incremental victory for men. Way to go! This is how men will in part win the war waged by feminist hate groups.

Thanks, warble. I have also just been interviewed by the Union Leader, NH's largest newspaper. The reporter was very supportive and I was told they're going to try to run the article tomorrow. I even mentioned the Men's Commission Bill, so hopefully that will get some exposure too.
It really surprised me when he called. I didn't intend to send out any press releases until we had a significant number of members. He apparently read my letter on TNH's web site (it's just hitting the stands in print right now) and immediately decided to do a story on it.

Scott, you deserve heartfelt congratulations and support. Truly, your sense of principle and your determination to see justice done is on a scale more rarefied than most of us can attest to. I surely hope your endeavors are fruitful. As long as you remain focused, dispassionate, and open to dialogue, you will serve as an example not simply to those with whom you agree, but to those with whom you disagree as well. My advice: shame them with your generous spirit and your fair-mindedness. Reasonable people will see the difference between you and your detractors.

Scott, I cannot express my gratitude enough. I thank you, profusely, for fighting for my rights, and the rights of all men. You never cease to motivate me to do what I can to help our cause. Again, thanks.

Scott,
I know it may be too early to ask this, but how many members (or prospective) members do you have so far? Did you start this group alone, or were there others who felt the same and offered assistance?
Anyways, well done! You need your beets -- you recycle, recycle!
Don't eat your beets -- recycle, recycle!

I'll echo the sentiments of others by saying "great job." I would also love to hear updates as the year progresses.
Best of Luck

Definitely awesome Scott,
It is important to "raise the consciousness" on issues of fairness for men on college campuses today. Feminist groups are running wild with their anti-male propaganda and it is time dialogue and sanity prevail.
I live in New England, feel free to contact me if you ever need support

I hope to start a similar group on my campus, but I don't know if it will take at an all-female college.
I sent an e-mail around because some people were putting blatantly anti-male cartoons on the men's bathroom doors. I'll see what the response is before I come back.
-Rivka "Female men's activist" is not an oxymoron.

Isn't New Hampshire's motto "Live Free or Die"?
I guess that means all resident males are dead.
With very occasional exceptions.

I just checked out the Stop Hating Men site. It's a great start. I really loved the tone of it; just totally straight and uncompromising. It kind of reminds me of a slogan I saw on another men's sight a while back which read 'Remember, we are nice - but relentless.' I hope Lady Rivka does get something similar going at her college too. Eventually every college and university should have something like this. Once people learn how to say 'No' to other people's crap there'll be no going back. Some people may not like that, but ultimately it'll be the best thing for everyone. Nice work, Scott. ;>)

I sent out a campus-wide e-mail, not only to the students, but to the professors as well. So far, I have gotten 30 replies, @ 7 of which were negative and gender-feminist and/or ad hominem attacks. The rest were either "I agree with you" or "We should start an organization like this", more or less. THIS IS ON AN ALL-FEMALE CAMPUS!!! (but we do have male profs, only one of which replied). I'm quite surprised! And all this over a cartoon on the men's door batroom which I shamed the girls from the Women's Rescource Center to take down!!!! :)
I'm quite amazed. :) As one girl put it, "Being pro-woman does not mean being anti-man". "Female men's activist" is not an oxymoron.

It just goes to confirm the line 'Evil succeeds because good men (and women) do nothing.' Most people seem to be too obedient for their own good, and they'll go along with certain things not because they have any deep commitment to them but because it's the easiest thing to do. It's surprising how little it can take to make these people change. Sometimes all you have to do is make them look at what they're doing and see that it's nasty and it doesn't reflect very well on them. Good work, Lady Rivka - and it's nice to see that over three-quarters of the responses you got were positive.

Yeah, I'm quite proud of that.
But today in Brit Lit, the proffessor opened by asking people about their reactions to the e-mail. She asked ME specifically if I had read what the Women Studies prof had to say. I said I did, and I didn't agree with it. The English prof was in total shock! She kept telling me the "patriarchy" kept both men and women down, and I said, "That's our culture you're messing with! If patriarchy goes down, so does Western culture!" Her last words before discussing the Shakepearian sonnets were, "My God, you sound so nihilistic!" To which I replied, "That's how I see the world." "Female men's activist" is not an oxymoron.

I remember a time in the summer of 1979 when a jockey blew up some disco records in a football stadium. The fans were so angry that the second game had to be cancelled. That was the beginning of the end of disco.
The raw courage it takes to even name a group Stop Hating Men and make the news public will have an effect.
