Aside from interest generated by the weirdness factor, no one else seems to think the judge is making sense."

You may be wrong about that. This is just
another off the wall example that proves the axiom:

"Much more harm has been caused by bozos that wear black robes than the bozos that wear white ones."

The misandric wackjob judiciary is a primary cause of the situation we are in now! We need to realize this and be reminded of it constantly.

And with all of the examples of loony tunenism that the "bozos in black robes" provide us with like the one above, this is not hard to do.
