News Calls from angry divorced fathers flooded KABC Los Angeles radio phone lines during Glenn Sacks' two-hour appearance on the Al Rantel Show Thursday night. Glenn and Al discussed Glenn's column on the dramatic courthouse suicide of distraught San Diego father Derrick Miller, and the discrimination which men routinely face in family court. The audio apparently isn't available yet, but I'm really looking forward to listening. I'm also glad the show was slammed with men who had such stories to tell.

Did anyone here actually hear the live broadcast? Were there any detractors?

I heard the live show. I did not hear any detractors. It was a good two hours of radio, very thought-provoking and educational, definitely of the quality I've come to expect whenever I turn on Al Rantel.

I heard most of it, except the last 10 minutes. I didn't hear any detractors. I heard two women call and for the most part they agreed, giving stories about what their new male partners experienced. Glenn mentioned that he received hundreds of emails responding to the suicide article, almost all of which tell the same story about a man becoming depressed due to the abusive divorce process. Often the emails to Glenn were from the guys' grandmas or new partners.

The ground swell of complaints being voiced by callers no doubt refects the level of abuse men endure in family courts. I'm glad to see these abused men had an outlet even if it was for only two hours.

I can hardly wait the hear the voices that will no doubt sound similar to the complants I've voiced on my show.

The interview was defninately what I expected. Calls from victims with similar stories of abuse from their vindictive exwives and the biased court system.

As usual, none of the women who use the system to inflict harm and leech off men had the nerve to call, even though you can go to any messageboard anywhere on the internet this topic is discussed and find hoards of these women b!#ching, whining and bragging. These women are thieves and cowards and deserve nothing less than a smack on the head directions to the door.

Glenn brought up that this man (Derrick Miller) was ordered to pay somewhere around 75% of his income in child support, which goes right along with the comments I made on the other article, the object is to transfer ALL the money from the father to the mother, and that is hideous.

It was a great show!

It is now available on Glenn's website for those who have not yet heard it.(with COMMERCIALS and NEWSBREAKS edited out too!:)

One thing that amazed me was that the host acted surprised at all of the misandric abuse men suffer from the lameass court system.

This judicial dog and pony show has been going on for some time now.
How could someone not notice this garbage going on?

This may be a rhetorical question because men have been socialized in Western culture to not complain about their problems but to "take it like a man" in noble (deadly) silence.

Maybe this is sign that men have finally received permission from society to give voice their plight without losing face and being put down as being less than a man for complaining.

This would be a victory for the men's movement. A
major stumbling block in communication would be overcome if this is the case. Let us hope so!
