I like to see a man of action! This guy is willing to do something about the gynocentric environment that young males face in school today (i.e. emphasis on issues related to the success of girls, de-emphasis for the issues of success for the future "patriarchal oppressors").
It is amazing that schools do not foster an environment that promotes reading interests to boys, and when boys perform worse than girls it is because they are "male" and the "system" isn't to blame.
How do we get in touch with this guy? I want to support his efforts.

If we could somehow contact him, we might be able to find out how to promote his display in other bookstores.

It is also worth noting that this guy's domain resolves to a virtual server on www.penguinputnam.com, which, if I'm not mistaken, is the same company responsible for the production of an ENORMOUS amount of paperback versions of books.
We should let Penguin/Putnam know that we support what GuysRead is all about.

Wow, amazing! A big book company is backing him up!
Funny, a lot of the books he lists I read when I was younger because "girlie" stories didn't (and still don't) interest me. Most of the stuff I read is nonfiction, sci-fi, and comic books [esp. Japanese manga](sounds sterotypically male, doesn't it?) I remember my second-grade teacher taking advantage of this by giving me stories about ponies or dress-up or even Little House on the Prairie to punish me. My mom looks at me quizzically b/c I don't share her interest in romance novels. But then again, I've had 16 years to hone my tastes (I'm 19, BTW), so I know wht I like. "Female men's activist" is not an oxymoron.
