Female Deceit of Men

	frank h and Andrew sent in this very disturbing article from Ananova News. It reports on a survey done by the women's magazine That's Life, which found that 24% of women would "try to conceive without their partner's consent if they wanted a baby." Other quotes from the article: "The Scruples and Lies Survey found that modern women are willing to lie about everything from contraception to the size of their bank balance. Whether it's little white lies or serious porkies, 94% of the 5,000 respondents confessed to telling fibs, with 48% lying on a daily basis...The vast majority (84%) said they could lie with a clear conscience, with many justifying their deceit as a means of sparing other people's feelings."

Surprise, surprise (Score:0) by Anonymous User on Wednesday August 29, @05:41PM EST (#1) This response may sound mysoginistic. So it goes. No apologies. Is anyone really surprised anymore by this type of "revelation?" Twenty-four percent of the women who responded would lie to their partner, if they wanted to conceive. Forty-eight percent lie on a daily basis. How can we be surprised, when women won't take responsibility for their actions and most men won't hold them accountable? Eighty-four percent say that they can lie with a clear conscience. Many claim that they aren't lying for their own sake. They claim they're lying to spare someone else's feelings. Uh huh. Best of all, "Susan Quilliam, psychologist and That's Life! agony aunt, said: "Women's lives are changing very fast and the fact they lie is an indication they're under pressure at work, at home and in their relationships, so sometimes they feel they have to bend the truth just in order to survive." Of course, it's not because many women are plain old selfish.

Almost no one believes the scenario that a woman would lie about contraception to her partner, now we have some statistics that show it's true. Who can deny it now? Again, I hope C4M supporters wake up and take note of this. And use it to their advantage.

I've been saying this. (Score:1) by DanCurry on Wednesday August 29, @06:22PM EST (#3) (User #245 Info) An interesting study for which I have yet to find a link to, Dr. Dean Edel mentioned on his show, a study of soon to be married couples in which they tested for various levels of chemicals believe to be associated with strees. The study showed higher levels of these chemicals in the women of the pairs that divorced soon after their marriage. I believe this may indicate deception on the part of some women who enter marriage with the intent of divorcing for profit. Regardless, futher study along these lines could be extremely useful in helping men deal with stress. Dan Curry DanCurry.Com
