	Spartacus sent in this article from dadi.org. It covers a number of related issues, including the decline of fatherhood, the rise of the welfare state, and the government programs which essentially reward mothers for eliminating dads from the home. It ends with a plea not to let further government intervention in family matters destroy fatherhood and our society further.

dadi.org piece (Score:1) by remarksman on Wednesday August 01, @04:23PM EST (#1) (User #241 Info) i see lots of similar commentary to the dadi.org piece on the net many men still operate under the illusion that a return to the nuclear family with pops at the head will occur through organizational or political pressure you live in a covert matriarchy spanning every cultural element and context, including dominance of pseudo-male politicos ... women own children in north america, and men are not going to be allowed meaningful influence in chidren's lives under the current regime ... it's not a condition reparable by tweaking the system your children will be taken from you, and removed from the influence of all aspects of authentic masculinity, until the day you and your brothers decide you've been whipped enough ... and it's not "reverends" and their churches who will take away the whip men will not be freed from their cultural chains through retrogression this piece is clearly well-intentioned, but the hour for mildness is long past ray remark
