I don't know about the Phillipines, but it seems to me that a lot of Americans have this idea that we have an inherent right to never be offended by anything. The definition of what constitutes harassment has been diluted beyond belief. It's gotten to the point where telecommuting isn't just convenient, but a necessity to keep yourself from being sued because you had a "South Park" character icon on your desktop and some moron found it offensive.
Then again, this article is about "offensive" e-mails. Even telecommuters aren't safe. No one is safe!
