As it happens, I've long been a great fan of Chinese culture, and have been studying the language for some years. Nevertheless, I wouldn't want to live in the kind of sociopolitical environment Chinese people seem to like - or at least tolerate. America is far from perfect, to be sure, but it remains the only place on the planet where the citizen's rights are (theoretically, at least) defined as prior and superior to government power. It would be a great tragedy of world history to lose what we have here in the rising sea of feminist/socialist human-termite collectivism. At the moment, unless we turn it around, that is exactly what will happen, and soon.
By the way, I am far from a military cultist; I was a draft-dodger in the Vietnam War (which I don't regret; that war had nothing to do with defending America's hearth and home), have never been in the military or even learned to fight in my youth like a normal boy once would've. In short, I am a product of the times, a good example of the feminist ideal mama's boy 'sensitive' intellectual wussy guy. But I also cannot hide from the truth; indeed, as I grow older and realize how completely I've been lied to throughout my life, I find I have an almost desperate hunger for the truth. And the truth is, in the real world women and men are different, and a country whose men have been feminized will not survive.
Please read this article, and give it some serious thought. It says nearly all that needs to be said, and very well.

This article needs no comment. It only needs to be read. I wish there was a way to include it in all my kids' high school social studies classes.

I agree with the other individual who correlates
military preparedness with the strength and self-confidence of males in a society. In fact, military philosophers have stated that,if a country has weak males, there is a significantly greater chance of military defeat. The stalemate that occurred in the Korean War and the defeat of the U.S.A. in Vietnam can be veiwed as the result of the progressive weakening of American males. Subsequent to the defeat of the U.S.A. during the War in Vietnam, we had an invasion of illegal aliens from the South and other parts of the world. This can be further evidence of the continuing weakening of American males which will result in the destruction of the USA. I do not think, however, that males should by law or custom, be treated differently than females since one can not logically nor ethically define a person because of gender. Rather, both genders should be treated equally by law and custom with equal rights, responsibilities, and freedoms. This will strengthen both sexes giving a self respect and respect for others that is lacking in our current social-political-legal systems which ,both covertly and overtly, denigrates and discriminates and weakens males by law and custom to the eventual end that our society and females will meet the same end as did the women in the Ancient Greek tragedy, the Trojan Women, in which the women of a nation became the slaves of foreign invaders because they had,,in effect, denigrated and weakened thoses males in their society who would have been able to defend them,if it had not been for the same aforementioned unjust treatment.
