Although I recommend reading R.F. Doye's history of the Men's/ Fathers' Rights Movement, "Ending the Battle of the Sexes" is light years beyond Doyle's Men's Manifesto. One can scarcely imagine Doyle writing the following excerpt from Herron and Kipnis' article.
"Some habits are hard to change, even with an egalitarian awareness. Who can discern what is social conditioning and what is a habit of nature itself? It's hard to figure out what is truly natural. It may not be possible or even desirable at all. What seems more important is that women and men start understanding each other's different cultures and granting one another greater freedom to experiment with whatever roles or lifestyles beckon them."
