Frederick Douglas, the noted Black Abolitionist, wrote about the characterisitics, customs, and ethics of slavery and slave owners. One of these characteriistics of the slave owning culture was the inequality before the law of slaves.Slave masters could kill their slaves without any reasonable provocation. Similarly females elitists argue the same in the same arrogant and demeaning manner as the old Slave Masters did in the ante bellum South. There are many other similitarties between the characteristics of female elitists and the female elitist culture in which we live and the old slave owning culture of the old South. Included in the same is the proposition, supported by many female traditionalists and many feminists, that males have only one purpose in their life, to support the economic, social, and cultural goals of females which is similar to that of slaves who had only one allowed purpose in their lives, to support the economic, cultural, and social goals of their slave masters. Yes, the female elitist culture, both traditionalist and feminist, is very similar to the old slave culture of the old ante-bellum South. Similarly, as already mentioned, feminists think that men should not have the legal rights which women have and that women should be able to kill them without legal recourse against them for doing the same, as was the case for slaves in the ante bellum South.

Interesting parallels, cshaw. I think you hit the nail on the head. I find it profoundly disturbing that the fundamental rights of the accused are slowly being removed in cases where a man is accused by a woman of some crime. We've seen it in the new conduct codes being introduced by universities (Columbia U. being one of the most "progressive" of these institutions), and the reasoning that men deserve no sympathy or rights when accused because they've caused so many problems for the world.
I strongly believe that the cause of men's rights is intimately linked with civil liberties issues, including due process, free speech, and privacy. I am planning to add more to this site in this area in the future.
Thanks for your comments,
Scott

I assume the program will be made available on the internet via RealAudio or WindowsMedia player, and when it is, I'll post a link to it as a new story.
