Announcements Here's a fun way to get people involved more with Mensactivism.org: post a comment to the message board for this story and ask Warren Farrell a question or two! If you've never posted comments to this site before, I'd highly recommend reading the site tutorial, and then come back here and click on "Read More" at the bottom of this blurb to read what the rules are and how this will work. You can also check out Dr. Farrell's web site if you're not already familiar with his work. Update: I have submitted the interview questions to Dr. Farrell. You can see which ones were selected by clicking here.

I'm a grad student pursuing a masters degree in counseling. Through out my graduate school experience, I've encountered just about every low-down, dirty cheapshot against men imaginable. Over the last couple years I've come to realize that the same anti-male climate exists on pretty much all college campuses these days. What do you believe would be the most effective strategy for ridding college campuses of this unabated misandry? Do you believe it would be best to confront college boards of trustees or attempt to start men's studies classes or file grievances with state human rights commissions ... or perhaps some other strategy? I'd be curious to hear your views on this subject. Thank you.

I just read one of your early feminist books. My question is: what were you smoking at the time? Or more seriously how did you come to accept the 'men are bad, women are good' story.

I don't pretend to speak for Warren, but I know that he was quite involved in the feminist movement and began to distance himself from it when he realized that his pro-fem collegues had no interest in accepting a pro-male perspective on the issues. Then I think he realized what a sham it was and began to get a bit more aggressive with his writing (Myth of Male Power, WCHWMDS).
