University of Texas Student Says Gyms Are Too ‘Masculine,’ Proposes Women-Only Gym

Article here. Excerpt:

'University of Texas at Austin student Sanika Nayak argued that men make gym facilities uncomfortable for women. As a result of this predicament, Nayak proposes that the University of Texas should divide the gym into protected sections, so that female students can feel more comfortable when they are exercising.

"The gym is always so crowded, and there’s always more guys there, especially in the free weights room,” one University of Texas student said in a comment for Nayak’s column. “A lot of times, girls can feel intimidated to go in there and grab some weights, as weightlifting is seen as a thing men do even though it’s important for women to do also.”

"Often women feel that if they go to the gym in leggings and a sports bra, people are just going to be looking at the way (they’re) dressed,” the student added. “That can be a really uncomfortable situation — when you’re just trying to work out but men around you could be focused on something else.”

Nayak says that it would not be that difficult to create a women’s section at the gym. According to her proposal, it was simply include sectioning off a portion of the gym that would become only accessible to women.'

Yep. Every time I go to hoist 160 lbs. of iron over my chest the only thing I can think about is the killer legs and outstanding tits on all the hot chicks standing around watching me teff metal.

Has this nutty bitch ever actually been to a gym?

First, college chicks can barely pick up their books much less a 40-lb. curling bell. I've seen a few pick up 5-lb and occassionally the monsters pick up 10-lb weights but nothing more. Second, pumping iron is in a way akin to yoga class. The LAST thing on your mind is pussy even if you're surrounded by it in tight outfits with crotches so tight you could if you wanted perform a gynecological exam. That is because when in yoga class all you are trying to do is NOT fall over or collapse or begin sobbing like a *leeetle girl* b/c yoga is not and has never been "easy". Neither has pumping iron unless you choose to teff so little weight for your mass you may as well be watching TV in the waiting area instead.

Well anyway, why stop there. Girls are prob uncomfortable with guys in class. After all, a man might notice her tits or something, arghh! So let's have separate but equal classes. Now it might be there could be one or two non-white kids who feel all icky with whitey around. So let's divvy up the classes by race AND sex. Plus there's also the dorms. Maybe we should divide them up too.

I know: let's open a separate university for EVERY FUCKING STUDENT who goes. That way no one will have to deal with anyone else. Ever. Never.

Let's raise children in their own universe.

I want my own fucking universe. No one but me. Fuck off.

If they want separate gyms for men and for women, fine by me.

But as soon as the sign goes up saying "No Women Allowed," they'll be complaining and marching about their rights being denied to full access to university facilities. For the modern woman, it's okay for women to have separate facilities, but not for men. It's okay to have "women-only" concerts or business clubs, but not for men. But fair is fair: if women want separate facilities, men should get separate facilities.
