The desperate cry of America's boys

Article here. Excerpt:

'Mr. Black is not the first to attack masculinity and suggest it’s at the root of all evil. Indeed, the phrase ‘toxic masculinity’ has become boilerplate language in America.

It’s not a hard sell, either. After all, it is boys and men who are typically to blame for violent acts of aggression. Ergo, testosterone—the defining hormone of masculinity—must be to blame. But testosterone has been around forever. School shootings have not.

Mr. Black is correct that boys are broken. But they're not broken as a result of being cavemen who haven’t “evolved” the way women have. They’re broken for another reason.

They are fatherless.

Broken homes, or homes without a physically and emotionally present mother and father, are the cause of most of society’s ills. “Unstable homes produce unstable children,” writes Peter Hasson at The Federalist.

He adds, “On CNN’s list of the “27 Deadliest Mass Shootings In U.S. History,” seven of those shootings were committed by young males since 2005. Of the seven, only one—Virginia Tech shooter Seung-Hui Cho—was raised by his biological father throughout childhood.”'

I concur fatherlessness is a major contributing factor. But we have many boys w/o fathers today. The great bulk don't shoot up schools or anything else.

Same goes for Muslims, though I do think that of all the world's religions today, Islam is most likely to produce crazies with guns. In addition, spreading itself via warfare/violence/subterfuge/deceit is in fact expressly permitted according to its tradition and doctrines. So viewing its incursion into the west as a problem to be resolved or defeated is IMO justified. Likewise, fatherlessness is also a problem that needs to be addressed/defeated.

But in both cases: boys with Wahabbism on the brain or fatherlessness in life - both are factors that increase the likelihood that a very mentally disturbed boy or man is going to go nuts violently and do crazy shit like what just happened.

Still, I contend that CRAZY is the no. 1 force at work here. Crazy is as crazy does. But I also think that being batty is no get-out-of-it free card, too. This kid's guilty of mass-murder. Crazy, yes. But guilty. The legal standard in the US is this: did you know or could you be expected to know that what you did was illegal? If so, and you did it, then you're guilty. The insanity plea requires you to be so out of touch with reality that you didn't know what you were doing and also that you were so through no fault of your own. (I.e., "I was blind drunk," is no excuse). This kid was far from that.

But I'll bet his mental problems would've been handled a lot better if he had had a functional father looking after him. Or for that matter, a mother who didn't roll over in the face of derelict authorities.

Dads are good about not putting up with bullshit and negligence when it comes to their kids. Good ones, anyway. The difference between this kid committing mass murder and him being committed years ago is just this: a functional father.

When Will We Have the Guts to Link Fatherlessness to School Shootings?

'Now that the gun control advocates have had their fifteen minutes of fame, let’s start focusing on the real issues impacting the rise in school shootings since that infamous day in Columbine in 1999. Issue number one that no one in the mainstream media or government wants to acknowledge: fatherlessness. Specifically, the impact of fatherlessness on the boys who grew up to become school shooters.

Dr. Warren Farrell, author of the new book The Boy Crisis, explains:

"Minimal or no father involvement, whether due to divorce, death, or imprisonment, is common to Adam Lanza, Elliott Rodgers, Dylan Roof  and Stephen Paddock.

In the case of 19-year-old Nikolas Cruz, he was adopted at birth. His adoptive dad died when Nikolas was much younger, and doubtless the challenges of this fatherlessness was compounded by the death of his adoptive mom three and a half months ago.

The rate of mass shootings has tripled since 2011. We blame guns, violence in the media, violence in video games, and poor family values. Each is a plausible player. But our daughters live in the same homes, with the same access to the same guns, video games, and media, and are raised with the same family values. Our daughters are not killing. Our sons are."'

Once more the blame for another tragedy is placed on masculinity. Its an easy hit for anyone with an axe to grind and no real interest in addressing the real issues underlying violence in the community. Particularly for those who hate men or might gain advantage from denegrating others instead of providing constructive constributions.
Intrinsic maleness has nothing to do with these events. The only people who think this is a natural consequence of maleness, are those peddling the feminist hate speech of toxic masculinity or those either too lazy or too stupid to look, think and act for themselves.
Acts of violence like school shootings stem from feelings of isolation, helplessness and persecution, real or delusional. There is nothing inherently masculine or manly about shooting people. Given maleness is a world wide characteristic, and school shootings are localised to the US, there is no suggestion of a link.
When people feel marginalised, disempowered, demonised, persecuted and hated, they fight back. When the people fighting back have guns, they use them. Surprise surprise.
So long as America continues to have liberal gun laws and continues its war on men and boys, fails to understand or value masculinity, treats fathering like some kind of animal husbandry (you know, rub the kid up against a male once or twice and you're done), so long as feminists control the gender dialogue in schools, universities and governments, we will continue to see lost boys and men in states of depression or mental and emotional deconstruction committing acts of violence and rebellion.
What are the real issues here. Why are these boys so desperate. Why are they so disfunctional. Why are they so willing to kill and die. What are they screaming at us that we are so unwilling to hear? Maybe blowhards like Mr Black should try listening to someone outside the echo chamber of their tribal dogma.

sandy hook was a hoax. I was hand preparing my eoy dam and bridge reports in front of my computer from the time the 1st helicopter news guy said that they were arriving 'just as the 1st responders (cops) were', until lunch. no children exited that school. none. nada. the news guys showed the immediate 'catch and release' of the guy(s) in camo up in the adjacent woods and the strange interviews 1/4 mile down the only road in/out over and over and over again. nothing else much happened at the school all morn. cops putting on a show. after the cops got through securing the building it was over an hour before they cleared the blocked road (at the fire station) and let a couple ambulances to w/in about 100' of the school. they then spread out some colored mats that never saw any bodies. speculation by the news guys about the lack of children evacuating the school was interesting. they even eventually speculated that perhaps there were tunnels running away from the school. I spent the remainder of the work day out in the field and when I came back to my office the choppers were still circling overhead. to this day no video of that morning evac has ever surfaced. there were pix released taken by the local rag showing a few children (dressed for summer) being evacuated, but according to the researchers those couple of photo's were photo-shopped, and two of the little boys strangely changed positions from one photo to the next. now the video of the non-evac don't exist. cop cams confirmed no evac.

it took me forever to find out the evac of 500 +/- k-4 students supposedly started at 10:04 am. it didn't. once I started looking into this 'fema drill gone active', I quickly realized it was staged. fema was even holding a drill just down the road at the same time about the same scenario. imagine that. I have made a list of over 70 things wrong w/ this 'school shooting'. for instance, where was the rush of ambulances? for over an hour after being secured no ambulances were allowed past the blockade at the fire station, and then only a couple. no medevac was even notified w/ 26 dead? police were said to have declared everybody dead w/in the 1st few mins (illegal). the crazy coroner said no parents would be allowed to see their dead children. for real? bodies left in the school overnight? the script was full of this kind of stuff. the head cop warned 'nobody had better start investigating this shooting'. that's when I started looking into it. want more examples of the foolishness?

no a.d.a anywhere. no parking lot blue signage or striping. same w/ toilets.
no x-mas anywhere in the released school (12-14-2012) pix that weren't redacted. one puny candle cutout appeared on a door once they started trying to 'fix; the scene. plenty of 'tree of life' posters everywhere. books junk piled up in the pix 6' high all around the walls in almost every room. the front part of the 60 yo contaminated school looked newly remodeled. the rear hallways still had high water lines down the hallways, and were filthy. the roof was in desperate need of repair. according to the coroner's report, adam lanza was 6' tall and weighed 112 lbs. he suffered from a debilitating disease that caused him to be very awkward. his dad was quoted as saying he couldn't even tie his shoes when he was 17 yo. so, this handicapped gamer (w/o any internet footprint) rambo'd his way in by shooting out the front window. he then climbed through the window and over the furniture in a ski mask, all the while carrying 1/3 his body wt. in guns, ammo and gear. he then proceeded to kill just about everybody ne laid his eyes on. incredibly his 95+ % of hits was only surpassed by his record time in doing so.

I can go on and on w/ the stupid stuff people have swallowed while believing the gov line. but I won't. I encourage people to go and look at the little evidence (they haven't destroyed or redacted) and see for yourselves what our gov is capable of doing.
