NYC School Cancels Father-Daughter Dance to Comply With New Gender Guidelines

Article here. Excerpt:

'A Staten Island elementary school cancelled its traditional father-daughter dance because of the Department of Education’s (DOE) new gender guidelines.

PS 65 had the event scheduled for Friday, February 9, until the school's parent-teacher association realized it would not comply with the Transgender and Gender Nonconforming Student Guidelines, which went into effect in March 2017.

The school’s PTA will reschedule a dance for kids and caregivers of any gender on March 2, according to the DOE.

“Father-daughter dances inherently leave people out. Not just because of transgender status, just life in general,” said Jared Fox, the DOE’s LGBT community liaison. “These can be really uncomfortable and triggering events.”'

The Mother-Son dance was also cancelled...

... but only because of all the No RSVPs. Too many boys were devastated at the thought of being seen dancing with their mothers.

There were also some... controversial and embarrassing... situations here and there during the last Mother-Son dance which caused planners to give pause at the notion of repeating last year's still-oft-discussed Mother-Son dance. I hesitate to discuss details but those affected by these unfortunate events know about things already so I see no need to elaborate further.

Let's just drop the subject, hmm-kay?

Thank-you.

No mom or dad

Soon there will be no mom and no dad.

Just "parental units."

And we will have "offspring units" instead of children.

Then we can have "Parental Unit-Offspring Unit" dances.

Has a nice right to it, doesn't it? :)

Am thinking...

... the family maid/sex-bot-teen boy dance is in the future.

Boys'll be banging them in the parking lot before, during, and after the dance.
