Hoyer calls Pelosi's 'five white guys' remark offensive

Article here. Excerpt:

'Democratic Whip Steny Hoyer (Md.) on Thursday blasted Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi's (D-Calif.) remarks about white men working on an immigration agreement as "offensive."

“The five white guys I call them, you know," Pelosi said, referring to five bipartisan lawmakers, including Hoyer, leading efforts to salvage the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. All five of the male lawmakers are white.

"Are they going to open a hamburger stand next or what?" she said, referring to the popular fast food restaurant "Five Guys."

Hoyer pushed back against the remarks.

“That comment is offensive. I am committed to ensuring DREAMers are protected and I will welcome everyone to the table who wants to get this done,” he told Politico in a statement, using the nickname referring to recipients of the DACA program.'

The Party of Women

Hoyer is the minority whip, a leadership position held by a Democrat (ie, himself) at the moment. And the minority leader of his own party assailed him because of his gender and ethnicity.

The female Dem leadership clearly wants to boot out men, starting with white ones, but eventually they'll get to anyone male: black, white, Asian, Hispanic, whatever.

Pelosi has repeated documented incidents of showing signs of mental impediment, possibly age-related, as did HRC during the campaign. Despite this, they remained leading Dems. This is bc to the Dem party, a woman with signs of mental disorder (of any kind for any reason) is preferable to a mentally stable man. Their mindset is now if-it's-female-and-feminist-it's-our-champion. This is how you get ppl who are legal incompetents at the head of major political parties. Oy.

All that is aside from their overt bigotry against men, white ones especially.

Really, this is a major party leader we have here and look at how she behaves.

I think our president's tweeting is ill-advised. But has DJT as POTUS ever said anything like Pelosi has in this case, openly denigrating ppl in his own party bc of ethnicity and/or gender?

If so, someone please describe it so I can rail on about that, too.
