Michigan Democrat's Insane Anti-Penis Campaign Ad

Article here. Excerpt:

'A Michigan Democrat running for attorney general released a campaign ad this week in which she suggests that not having a penis makes her qualified for the position.

Dana Nessel suggests her answer to stopping sexual harassment in politics is to elect more women because they can be trusted "not to show you their penis in a professional setting."

“If the last few weeks have taught us anything, it’s that we need more women in positions of power, not less,” Nessel says in her ad. “So when you’re choosing Michigan’s next attorney general, ask yourself this: Who can you trust most not to show you their penis in a professional setting? Is it the candidate who doesn’t have a penis? I’d say so.”

“I want to tell you what you can expect me not to do,” Nessel continues. “I will not sexually harass my staff, and I won’t tolerate it in your workplace either. I won’t walk around in a half-open bathrobe, and I’ll continue to take all sex crimes seriously just like I did as a prosecutor.”'

There's nothing wrong with a party ticket being made up entirely of women. There is however a problem with electing someone because of their sex. By implication she is also suggesting that any given male candidate is all but assured of engaging in sexual misconduct.

In short, her platform is based on gender bigotry. HRC took a very similar approach.

The Dems are in process of making themselves The Feminist Party.

Because she doesn't have one.

She might, however, show you her breasts and legs. Remember J Lo's "almost a dress" she famously wore to the Academy Awards ceremony. Was that an instance of sexual harassment? Or female empowerment?

Men tend to think if it's okay for a woman to do it, it's okay for a man to do it. It doesn't work that. If Harvey Weinstein showed up in "almost a tux" at the Awards ceremony, he'd be told to go home and change. But many a starlet shows up close to naked and it's celebrated.

And if it's okay to vote for a woman because she's a woman, it's also okay to not vote for a woman because she's a woman.

Your right elcid. I see double standard all the time. I remember years ago watching "Girls Next Door" (or it might have been Kendra's short-lived spin-off show) and Kendra Wilkinson flashed a school bus full of children by lifting up her shirt, and then laughing with her stupid laugh about it.
