Why the Roy Moore Accusations Terrify Me as a Wife and Mother

'I have three men in my life who are important to me above everyone else. My husband, my son and my father. These men mean everything to me. Watching Roy Moore go through the current media circus has made me fear for the future of these men whom I love. The idea that someone can lose a career, his reputation, and the public trust over accusations of events that happened decades ago — that no one was witness to, saw, heard, reported, or acknowledged in any significant way— is terrifying. Let me remind you of something that Americans hold sacred: the presumption of innocence.

Many people think that the reason why the American experiment existed was a result of religious persecution, but it wasn't the only abuse suffered. Another major reason people fled England was the unfair court system that put the burden of proof on the accused. If you were charged with a crime, you were guilty unless you could prove you were innocent. This led to many false imprisonments. The concept of innocence until proven guilty did not come into being in England until the 1800s. Until then, the law heavily favored the wealthy, who could produce the required number of witnesses (usually 12) to absolve them of a crime. The poor were most times unable to do so. The presumption of innocence was essential in the minds of our forefathers.

It should disquiet you that this tenet of our belief system is being overwhelmed by Gloria Allred and her gaggle of female accusers that she drags out every election cycle. We've all heard the term "trial by public opinion," but until now that still didn't trump the actual trial in a courtroom. What's happening to Roy Moore is now becoming commonplace in American politics. A man is being destroyed based on rumors and accusations. There is no judge, no jury, and no justice.'

... unless the woman has a personal stake in his fortune, as that then affects her. But the average woman cares nothing for men as a class. I think we can see this in the kind of reaction women have to allegations slung around the media. The accused is immediately presumed innocent and the average woman would be fine if a truck hit him the next day... UNLESS she has a dog in the race (ie, needs money from him or is sentimental about him for some reason).

Men as a class generally rush to side with women's POVs and interests in the classic nymphotropic way so typical also of women. Men generally are fine with the idea of other men getting tossed under the bus; the limbic system says, "Less competition for pussy, weee!", so long as that man's demise, again, does not diminish him materially or emotionally.

Until or unless there is a national discussion about these facts (nymphotropism, intrasex competition, etc.) and the subconscious motivations behind nymphotropism and misandry are brought out in the open, horrible pieces of work like G. Allred, HRC, etc. will continue to get away with character assassination at all levels. To think that rampant accusations of sexual misconduct are NOT in the DNC playbook as a matter of course would be naive, esp. now that the DNC is being run almost entirely by women, and feminists at that. Ultimately, men in the DNC will find themselves facing them should they fail to be good little boys and step aside to let whatever female candidates want to run do so.

I once read that the war of the sexes has largely been one-sided for the past 50 years. It's an assault on men without men either responding or most being even willing to acknowledge that indeed, the people with whom you are supposed to partner with in life have in fact banded together and are waging open class warfare on you and they care not a whit how much damage they have to do to get whatever they want. If the average man could finally see what is happening, I have no doubt a counter-strategy and attack plan could be assembled by men in general in less than 24 hours and it would be hugely successful once executed. (In case you haven't noticed, men are good at this thing called conflict, esp. when they realize their vital interests are at stake.) The only thing stopping men from defending themselves against this onslaught by feminists is men themselves.
