'Audi of America is jumping on the politically correct bandwagon and running a Super Bowl ad that pushes the “equal pay” lies we hear too often.

The car company’s “Equal Pay” commercial flies in the face of the facts, creates divisions between the sexes, and fails to do what an advertisement should do—make people want to buy the product.

The commercial shows a feisty girl in a drag race with boys as the father narrates, spewing nonsense about how women are devalued in our society.

"What do I tell my daughter? Do I tell her that her grandpa’s worth more than her grandma, that her dad is worth more than her mom? Do I tell her that despite her education, her drive, her skills, her intelligence, she will automatically be valued less than any man she ever meets? Or maybe I’ll be able to tell her something different."

The commercial ends with “Audi of America is committed to equal pay for equal work. Progress for everyone.”'

... watching the Falcons snatch defeat from the jaws of victory (not that I was rooting for either team) or this ludicrous ad. I think maybe the ad was worse.

Audi is getting slammed in the main-stream media for the ad. Good, this shows people know the wage gap doesn't exist.

The commercial's narrator lied when he claimed that his daughter will never be valued as much any man no matter what she does.

That's simply untrue. A lot of men out there have no value to anyone. In fact, a man's value is often measured by his ability to provide for and protect women and children. If he can't do that, he has little value.

Women's lives are generally more valued than men's lives, at least by men. That's why men often sacrifice or risk their lives to save the life of a woman. In fact, what gives men's lives value is their willingness to sacrifice their lives for the life of a woman. But that creates a paradox, doesn't it. Her life is more valuable, so he sacrifices for her. But that sacrifice creates his value. So who is more valuable in that situation? The man or the woman?

But if a man doesn't sacrifice his life for a woman, he's a loser.

The end result is a lot of dead men who are treated as heroes for sacrificing their lives for women--because they valued her life over their own.
