'Both Lena Dunham and her father, Carroll Dunham, expressed their support for “the extinction of white men” in a bizarre video posted to Dunham’s Twitter account on Wednesday.

“How are you feeling about the extinction of white men?” Lena asks her father in the video.

“Well, white men are a problem. Straight white men are a big problem, that’s for sure,” declared Carroll.

“But I actually feel pretty good about it,” he continued. “I think straight white guys have been screwing things up for long enough. High time for straight white males to step back and let some other people do it.”

In case you're wondering, Mark Twain never said (or wrote) that.

You have to wonder about the psychology behind a person who states he looks forward happily to his own extinction.

Imagine it's WWII and a member of some group being persecuted, rounded up, and murdered by the Nazis sitting there in a death camp and saying how he's looking forward to his __<some identity group here>__ going extinct. Just imagine that.

Tell me, what kind of bizarre mind-fuck does it take to get someone to not just accept his own demise as a person and as a class, but embrace it and actually look forward to it?
