No Rights to Cohabiting Women in Britain?

Dittohd writes "Is this really true? Or is it just more lies to stem the tide of more and more men deselecting the marriage option? And what about child support which they don't mention, I suspect conveniently. Isn't this the way it should be?"

Anti-Marriage website

EvilPundit writes "I've just found NoMarriage.com, a site that provides comprehensive arguments against marriage for men. The author sells a $9.95 manual to help men evaluate whether they really ought to get married, but the site is much more than a marketing exercise. I think it's worth publicising this page because it says a lot about what men are missing in our society."

Cnet article says men hog remotes

LeMorteMark writes "According to this article at cnet.com, 35 percent of men want to add a second television to the house and 46 percent of women want to add a second television. The author of the article makes the assumption that these statistics mean that men are "hogging the remote".

He doesn't even entertain the possibility that men don't want a second television because they're simply too busy working to watch it.

I like this snotty little statement here: "In short, a lot of married women apparently aren't getting to watch the regularly scheduled programs they like." I guess now we're all guilty of television abuse.

Here's a link to the article."

Child's Last Wish

DasCoon writes "This is the article.

Well, it is pretty sad that all this kid wants out of life is the pain of others. What is even worse is that the foundation would even consider trying to make it a possibility. Trying to ambush a man visiting a sick kid so they can punch him repeatidly in the testicles. I can only hope if they do that they are charged and prosicuted to the full extent of the law."

From the article “Why do I hate Barry Bonds? There’s no specific reason. I just think he’s a dick,” said Wickman. “He’s so conceited and he thinks he’s better than everyone else”. I wonder if this kid ever hated any woman for thinking too highly of herself. Obviously, the Make-A-Wish foundation would not try to ambush a woman who consistantly referred to herself as a goddess, (thus demonstrating a greater ego than Barry's), and repeatedly attack her genitalia, they know that would be wrong.

Man Imprisoned For Impersonating Ex

borgy1 writes "Prosecutors charged that Anthony Lee Napier posed as his ex in Internet chat rooms -- looking for sex partners. Napier -- impersonating his former wife -- gave out her address and phone number and said she would play dumb when the men called but still wanted sex. This week he was sentenced to two years in prison and another 10 on supervised probation.
Quite a harsh sentence for this crime. Compare this to false allegations of domestic or child abuse. Rarely is the women punished at all. Article

Teacher kicks student, gets paid leave

Benjamin Adam Studtmann writes "In the state I live in (Oregon), if I walk up to someone and hit them in any way, I will get five years of jail time (minimum). However, if you're a female teacher and kick a student, you will get paid leave and the issue will simply evaporate. Viva la difference!"

Oh Canada!

Anonymous User writes "Would anyone like to bust a gut at
this story
?"

Another Anonymous User also submitted a releated link and wrote "Let me get this straight:

She lied to police and almost got her ex jailed but "did commit a crime, but I'm not a criminal"

Notice how they refer to the husband as abusive. One must take note that, in Canada, you are encouraged to plead guilty by everyone when accused of domestic violence (it's easier they say). Who'll take a bet that she lied about the abuse in the first place (call me a cynic)

Maths Teacher Arrested

Benjamin Adam Studtmann writes "In the wake of a half-decade of horrific school shootings, it is reasonable to expect that any student or teacher who threatens to come to school with a loaded shotgun and start killing randomly will be instantly taken down by a SWAT team via bullets and tear gas. Why didn't it happen here? Why didn't we hear about this in the major press? And why is there no follow-up? Why am I asking questions I already know the answers to? I'm sure she'll receive some state-funded counselling to help this poor, administratively victimized woman come to terms with her terrible mental illness."

Female Cheating Now OK!

ikeman53 writes "The cover story for the July 12, 2004 issue of Newsweek is "The New Infidelity" and seems intent on telling us that not only are more wives cheating, but that it's good and women have earned it. About half the article , naturally, talks about how awful husbands are - as if we get everything we want out of our marriages! All in all, the article is mostly generalizations and some shaky statistics designed to push this agenda that all manner of sexual misdeeds by women in this day and age are OK, but if you're a man you're evil and icky. Check your local newsstand or, for our brothers outside the United Sates, visit here."

Anonymous User also submitted a similar link and said "Newsweek has an article on cheating wives. Not surprisely, "overscheduled lives and inattentive husbands" are listed as reasons. It's not hard to get the drift from the article that if your wife cheats its because you as a husband were not supportive, kind, loving, enough to your wife.
I wonder if they did an article on cheating husbands if the men would be given the same free pass and non-judgemental treatment?"

School shootings by women

Anonymous User writes "In 1979, 16-year-old Brenda Spencer opened fire at her school which was located across the street from her home. Two male staff members were killed. Brenda Spencer said "I don't like Mondays" to a reporter who asked about a motive. In the end, Spencer got a sentence of 25 years to life. The Boomtown Rats music group did a song that was inspired by the incident. One of the staff members who was killed was trying to protect students. Later, in 2001, 14-year-old Elizabeth Bush fired a gunshot that injured a female student at school. It is said that the shooter had been picked on by the student who was shot at but this is not clear. A male student talked Elizabeth out of shooting herself and likely prevented further trouble. Anyone heard much about these two incidents?"

Score "1" for equal justice under the law

Ray writes "Say what you want about small town America. These two prosecutors exhibit a world more common sense and constitutional fairness than the whole feminist indoctrinated District Attornies offices of some bigger cities like Los Angeles or Boston. Stiff sentence imposed following probation violation "...a college-educated white female, should not be given a substantially lesser sentence than Flowers, a black male raised in a disadvantaged economic situation," Stouffer said at the time of the sentencing. "As prosecutors, Jay and I have lived by the premise that no one should be above the law and that who a defendant is should not determine criminal liability.'"

Mother Orders Savage Beating To "Defend Family Honour"

Benjamin Adam Studtmann writes "I found a more detailed description of the savage all-girl beating that took place because someone kissed a boy on the cheek at a family birthday party. The story gets even better -- the beating was ordered by the matriarch of the clan. Even more amazing is that two out of the six females involved in this gang-bash were very much adults! To put it right over the top of surreal, the principal of the girls' school said, 'But for a lot of girls, it's all about respect, defending your turf, fighting for your man.' An adult-encouraged savage group beating is a form of respect? Another person's birthday party is 'your turf'? Fighting for 'your' 'man'? Since when is a male, of whatever age, an object or possession? Since when is a 13-year-old boy a 'man'? And what the hell kind of principal would say that? Can you guess the gender of the quoted principal?"

CA Appellate Court Overturns Paternity Fraud Judgment

Marc writes "The Second District Court of Appeal of California just overturned L.A. County's false paternity judgment against Manuel Navarro! L.A. County KNEW the child was not his because a paternity test excluded him, and it knew that he never raised the child, and yet it pursued child support against him as it has for thousands of other men. Navarro appealed, and the appellate court reversed it and said it is WRONG of L.A. County to do this. Paternity fraud victims should use this landmark decision, as controlling authority in CA, and as persuasive authority outside CA, to overturn their false paternity judgments. Please distribute this case to all PF victims. It is at here (PDF File) Marc"

2 Women Go On Crime Spree

Luek writes " Who says girls are made of "sugar and spice and everything nice?" These two monsters killed three men for just $30 to $200 dollars each in a six week long crme spree! It must have been for "kicks" since there was very little money taken. The money must have been an after thought."
