Are Women Penalized More Than Men in Tennis? Data Says No

Article here. Excerpt:

'Serena Williams argued that she was subject to a double standard when she was cited for verbal abuse by the chair umpire Carlos Ramos during the United States Open women’s final last Saturday.

“There are men out here who do a lot worse than me, but because I’m a woman you are going to take this away from me?” she protested to Brian Earley, the tournament referee. “That is not right.”

Each situation should be evaluated on its own merits, but according to data compiled by officials at Grand Slam tournaments for the past 20 years, men are penalized more often for verbal abuse.'

... she's become fat, ugly, and slow in her advancing years. Fat chicks love to fall back on "It's b/c I'm a woman!" lines. No, it's b/c you're a cow.

Well in this case it was b/c she actually earned the penalties. But let that not stop a tubby-assed ugly neo-feminist whiner.

Good luck getting those endorsement deals you fat shit.

i would like to know just what she has been eating to get her to balloon so fast. she really dwarfs the other women players. oh, and yeah, she really deserved that $$ penalty. i'd venture to say that a male player would have maybe gotten suspended as well. wasn't it jimmy conners who once drew the hefty penalties for his temper? the international tennis community has really looked up to her since she gave birth. ovations and such just for showing up. she is the one who had a baby, right? glad she isn't wearing the stringy thingy any more. yikes!
