Ireland: University Drops Freshman Label Because it Contains ‘Man’

Article here. Excerpt:

'Trinity College Dublin announced this week that they would be dropping usage of the term “freshman” because it contains the word “man.” In a statement, the university announced that the changed is being made to celebrate 100 years of women’s suffrage in Ireland.

“As we approach 100 years of women’s suffrage in Ireland in 2018,” the statement read, “it is timely to reflect on changes in our student body since “Freshman” first came into use, and to ensure those changes are reflected in the name we give them.”

In place of “freshman,” the term “fresh” will be used. Trinity College Student Union President Kevin Keane called the change “very sensible.” He suggested that the Student Union as a whole supported the change.'

Had a friend recently supply me a new word: "hallucinazis". Not really related directly to this story, but tangentially. He defines "hallucinazis" as the people SJWs on college campuses liken to Nazis because they don't concur with something they support, for example, h@ving 16 different pronouns for people of this or that sort, because they lack any actual Nazis to fight against. SJWs have to make up opponents as bad as Nazis so they can feel vindicated in their vileness.

I can imagine a man accused of rape/sexual misconduct by a university at a hearing being labelled as a Nazi, etc., should he have the temerity to suggest that the refusal of the committee/whatever to allow him to introduce exculpatory evidence is unfair.

Such a fellow would be a "hallucinazi".

Remember Milo Y? He's also a "hallucinazi".

why have the 'man' suffix follow any description? obviously, men aren't stepping up to fight for their rights, so why assume any exist in these places? I'm a trophy hunter when i'm well enough. when I see no deer sign in an area, and no sign of their past activity, I don't look there for a big buck to step out. its not a 'target rich environment' shall we say?

think about it. we have the word 'congressman' used every day all over the place. however, has anybody seen any sign there are any actual men in congress? crooks and other assorted lawyers for sure, and they regularly call these males there 'men', but are they men in the way our forefathers were men? for instance, when its time (regularly) for another woman based hand out program for women only, do any 'men' step forward to ask wtf? not likely. a few brave souls like tucker Carlson step up and question the feminazis, but they are few and far between.

maybe some cultures should just quit pretending there are any 'men' there who still care about 'men's rights'. its obvious there is little sign of their activities in this new fem-world of male fear and acceptance.
