SPLC names men’s rights activists as hate group

'The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), a US non-profit organisation dedicated to fighting hate and bigotry, has named men’s rights activists (MRAs) as a hate group in its latest quarterly publication.

In an issue entitled The Year in Hate and Extremism, the SPLC, based in Montgomery, Alabama, explores how MRAs spread false claims about women:

Misogynists in the men’s and fathers’ rights movements have developed a set of claims about women to support their depictions of them as violent liars and manipulators of men.

Some suggest that women attack men, even sexually, just as much as men attack women. Others claim that vast numbers of reported rapes of women, as much as half or even more, are fabrications designed to destroy men they don’t like or to gain the upper hand in contested custody cases.'

The SPLC is nothing more than a cash cow for Morris Dees and the other overpaid lounge lizards there. This has been known for sometime now but the same stupid contributors keep sending in their retirement money to keep them in the high income lifestyle they have become accustomed to. Fools and their money are soon parted as the saying goes. Also, Morris Dees divorce transcript is on the net and is interesting reading for those who are curious.

Is that why politicians are always pandering to women to secure the female vote?
Is that why the stimulus package was focused on mainly female industries?
Is that why women are the ONLY people with reproductive rights, while men have none? Or is she referring to the gov'ts refusal to pay for woman's birth control, the same way they refuse to pay for mens?

She also mentions rape jokes, which most MRAs also find offensive, yet she makes no mention of how feminists will roll in glee over a man being sexually mutilated by his wife or partner, an act far worse than rape.

Of interest. MANN never got an email from the SPLC so we can't say one thing or another about the purported statements from SPLC. Just adding this here to the story's comments section out of a sense of 'completeness' on the issue.
