Sharon Osbourne Makes Insincere Apology about Laughing at the Cutting Off of Men’s Penises

'Sharon Osbourne is controversial, there’s no doubt about it. So when a new story surfaced, telling of how Catherine Becker lopped off her man’s penis and tossed it in a garbage disposal, she had to have her say.

And like any other normal person on the planet, Sharon doesn’t think it’s a good idea to sever your guy’s goody parts. Good. I mean, who does that?!??

Firstly, on the show, Sharon had a laugh at the man’s expense, saying that she thinks “it’s quite fabulous”, after admitting that she doesn’t know the circumstances or why he filed for divorce. She also referred to it as “hysterical”.

Now, she has issued an apology, saying, “I do not condone genital mutilation and I didn’t mean any harm by laughing about it and I’m sorry that I offended people cause that’s not my intention or the intention of the show – it’s not what we are about.”'

As far as I am concerned, she is on the permanent Enemy of Men List.

Well, Sharon did say what she thought Arnie deserved for cheating on Maria.

Notice how the writer of the article that Matt quoted (the one that implies that thinking Sharon was serious is ridiculous) doesn't even know about those comments, and didn't even see the clip of them making fun of the Kieu incident. Also, she seems to miss the point altogether. We were outraged because they laughed at the senseless mutilation of a male in the worst possible region of his anatomy, and even praised the female perpetrator. If they had laughed about female genital mutilation in Africa, and heralded praise to those who perform them, I doubt the writer of this article could so casually dismiss it as "girls will be girls".
